Pre-Employment Health Screening

Some job roles require their medical fitness to be assessed against UK medical standards however it is also often undertaken by many organisations as a proactive approach to supporting employees in work and promoting a healthy workforce.

The pre employment health screening assessment initially consists of an employee health questionnaire. Should any health concerns be identified, an OH practitioner (specialist nurse or doctor) will undertake a telephone assessment with an employee to gain further medical information and provide associated advice for their employer.

A statement of fitness to perform the role, with any adjustments that are required, is provided to management following submission of an occupational health pre employment questionnaire.
